Private Lessons

Private instruction is tailored to meet your individual needs. We can come to your home or meet you at one of our training sites. We often encourage group classes because there are many benefits of socializing with other dogs and people and learning together.

However, there are times when this is not optimal, especially if your dog can not handle the group class environment. Sometimes private lessons are useful prior to attending a group class. If you or your dog needs special accommodations we will make every attempt to meet these.

In-home sessions can be particularly useful in assessing difficult behavior problems such as separation anxiety or destructive behavior in the home. We will assist you in assessing your home environment, routines, and any contributing factors and will help you develop a reasonable plan to address your concerns.

We will assist you in evaluating aggression concerns and may make a referral to veterinary behavioral specialists.

We may recommend (or require) that you have your dog examined by your veterinarian to rule out medical conditions. Partnering with your veterinarian for a complete physical and blood work can identify any health concerns that may be contributing to the undesirable behavioral.

Private lessons are also available for those individuals who simply prefer private instruction instead of group classes.

Available with in city limits of Rochester. Outside city limits, a fee for mileage will apply. Contact us to schedule private sessions

Cost:

$75 per Hour

$60 per Hour when enrolled in a Paws Abilities Dog Training Class

$240 for 4 - 1 Hour sessions pre paid and used within 2 months
