Private Consults

Private instruction is tailored to meet your individual needs. We can come to your home or meet you at one of our training sites.

In-home sessions can be particularly useful in assessing difficult behavior problems such as aggression, reactivity, anxiety, fear, or destructive behavior in the home. We will assist you in assessing your home environment, routines, and any contributing factors and will help you develop a reasonable plan to address your concerns.

We will assist you in evaluating aggression concerns and may make a referral to veterinary behavioral specialists.

We may recommend (or require) that you have your dog examined by your veterinarian to rule out medical conditions. Partnering with your veterinarian for a complete physical and blood work can identify any health concerns that may be contributing to the undesirable behavioral.

Private lessons are also available for those individuals who simply prefer private instruction instead of group classes.

Cost:

Rochester Location:
$90 per session (most sessions last about an hour)
$25 travel charge for in-home consults within Olmsted County
$75 per session when enrolled in a Paws Abilities Dog Training Class
$300 for 4 sessions pre-paid and used within 2 months

Brooklyn Park Location:
$125 per session (most sessions last about an hour)
$50 travel charge for in-home consults within the Twin Cities
$100 per session when enrolled in a Paws Abilities Dog Training class
$400 for 4 sessions pre-paid and used within 2 month
